These are sort like my personal, um, likes. Organization and establishments that I patronize and I hope you will consider using as well.

  • Montessori School of Lake Forest
    A wonderful place for your child's elementary education. I am very glad my daughter went here (for 10 years!).
  • North Shore Music Teachers Association
    I am a proud member. The North Shore, in this case, is along Lake Michigan, the suburbs north of Chicago.
  • Midwest Young Artists
    One of the country's premiere music organizations for young people. 'Nuff said.
  • Citadel Theatre
    Neat professional theatre in Lake Forest, Il. They put on first rate shows. I've music directed a couple of them.
  • Bangkok Tokyo Restaurant

    Luscious Restaurant in Lake Bluff, IL., Thai and Japanese cuisine, to which my family can walk when we feel like indulging (and when my wallet isn't empty).

  • Kroll's Fall Harvest Farm

    Family owned and operated farm near the Waukegan airport. They have a super corn maze--it really is a maze, but there are friendly helper staff to assist if you get stuck. Pumpkins, gourds, farm animals galore--featuring the cutest baby goats! A fuzzy baby donkey, too, the last time we were there.
